Transportation

How do we get around during the program?

1) Bring your own car. Some clients drive to Florida  to have their own vehicles for transportation. This may save you money from renting a car, but may take longer to get here.

If you’re coming from the Northeast, you may want to consider the Amtrak Auto Train. This train transports you and your car from Virginia to Sanford, FL. Sanford is approximately 2.5 hours from our facility.

2) Rent a car. Rentals are available at the Tampa International Airport. This may be a more expensive option, but saves time because you’re flying into to Tampa and saves wear and tear on your car.

3) Fly into Tampa, take a cab or other service to your housing.  This is the most expensive option. Trolley service is also available for short trips.
